SO ONIRIC CREATES A NEW Ep AND I DOWNLOAD... SO I HAVE THE 2nd ONIRIC MAGIC!

This 2nd Ep titled 'Boulevard Cinéma' is dedicated to Cinema (see track list for explanations). Obviously, since I'm a normal person, this is not a pure Ep. Not because 'Boulevard Cinéma' is a sort of song that if had the guitars is a perfect Black Metal or Death Metal song (not for lyrics) but because this is (at the end) not a Prog Rock Ep. In substance 'Boulevard Cinéma' is a srt of Ep of another type of music. Not Classic Music or Krautrock, because not Psychedelic. Yes, Post Rock is good. But only for sound and strumentation. Sure, in a sense of strategy, 'Boulevard Cinéma' is a sort of Post World Music!!! (Eh, eh, eh...!!!) And I read in Oniric a pure [%*!#]in' abstract band.

I read 'Abstract band'? Of course, the music is abstract but not banal. Because Oniric is a contemporary band and the music reflect the society. So 'abstract band' is referred to the mind and the soul of the contemporary society. In fact, except for 'Boulevard Cinéma' song, the music of 'Boulevard Cinéma' is without melodic rhythms. Typical of Post Rock is sound and the attitude. But the music is an electronic versionj of Mozart, Bach and Paganini. But without their thickness.

So Oniric is another great band that has created a great music for great connoisseurs!

This is a new sensational band from Benevento, South Italy. Oniric is a duo formed by Carlo De Filippo: keyboards, synths and Gian Vigo: vocals, guitars, drums, bass, lyrics and the Oniric bio so recited: Oniric was born in 2005, it is a duo merging Carlo De Filippo's sad chords and dark sounds with melodies and sonorous elucubrations from Gian Vigo. A dark - pop sonority interlacement, crossing obscure chords and some electronic influences, creating ethereal atmospheres, meditating and dreaming. In truth the music is very dark, but only because with this instruments the sound is Dark. At any case I wouldn't talk about Electronic Prog because rather I see in the Oniric a tightly recover some tradition of Italian Prog, filtered in modern optician. The manifesto song is sure "Destroy Paranoia", a simply POP oriented Dark song, with a good atmospheses. The second manifesto song is "Euphonia Revolver", more complex and decadent with a good keyboards and guitars. more Symphonic is the opener "The Rest Will Flow" with a simply rhytmic by electric guitar and good carpet of synth, sweet and dreaming. Dreaming is also "Dangling Cloud" also, to the end, is a normal song with rhythmic guitar and synth carpet. At any rate the largest lack are the vocal parts... Monotonous and a la Ayreon.
