Lux Aeterna biography
LUX AETERNA is a progressive-metal band from Rennes, brentagne, France, formed in 2002.

Its founding members were Walter Français and Benoit Toquet. After years of playing with numerous musicians, the band finally settled-up in its current line-up:

Benoît Toquet - Guitars
Walter Français - Drums
Maela Révolt - Vocals, violin
Olivier Le Pech - Bass
Nicolas Meyer - Keyboards

LUZ AETERNA just released their first EP in 2006. Called "Beyond Horizons", it got positive reviews from the specialized press.

Their style draws heavily from bands like DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X and fellow Frenchmen ADAGIO, though always within a style pretty much their own. The addition of a violinist to the regular progressive-metal formation only adds to the originality of LUX AETERNA.
