Review by Mirakaze
SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Eclectic, JRF/Canterbury, Avant/Zeuhl
3 stars Some very tasty melodies are scattered throughout this record, and "Black Hole Blues" is a hilarious tune that almost makes the whole experience worth it. Almost, because most of this album is dedicated to Vorhaus mindlessly scraping some "cosmic" noodlings out of his analog synthesizer that were dated and no longer impressive even at the time this was recorded. Any actual groove that gets started on this album gets way too little time to establish itself. You have to admire the mere fact that this album exists and was released as late as 1980, but taken on its own, despite the gorgeous album cover, this is kind of a letdown after its inventive and intelligently written predecessors.
