Review by Dobermensch
PROG REVIEWER
3 stars 'Bordeaux' is a bit on the repetitive side if you've heard the previous albums by "Budd" and "Guthrie". There's nothing new on offer here. What you get is the usual massive reverb on both guitar and piano as they appear to go through the same rigmarole for the umpteenth time. "Guthrie's" guitars sound magnificent but melt in to a black tar pit of repetitiveness.

That's not to say that this is poor... far from it... it's just that I've heard this so many times before. If anything, this is even more downbeat and sad than any of their previous collaborative albums.

Quite frankly, there's only so much you can take with this form of music before you just wanna slash your wrists. Too sad...
