4 stars John Czajkowski is a magical musician, and in Marco Minnemann he found a peer. Few artists are capable of writing a decent piece of music around a pre-existing drum track. I've tried it myself on a 3 minute drum track, without much success, while John took on a 53-minute one. The result is an intricate piece of music, with a bit of humor, a bit of emotion and lot's of excellent listening. Those who know John's efforts with Hectic Watermelon will recognise his style, although this album is much less power oriented as The Great American Roadtrip. I am not going to attempt a track by track review, this album deserves to be judged in a single piece.

The fact that the same drum track resulted in seven different albums by different composers leads to curiosity to the other 6, and admiration for the inspiration that drummer Marco Minnemann is able to arouse. A must listen for modern JR/F fans.
