Although I find the extended opening and closing tracks a bit rambling, they do contain some very good prog-rock bits. However, the three independent tracks are all much more cohesive, and have clear internal direction. My New World sounds a bit like U.K., but in a good way. And Mystery Train has become one of my favorite prog-rock songs by any band. Considering that these guys had never played together before - and that they wrote and recorded the album in 10 days - it is a remarkable effort.
