FOXTROT

Since this album has received a very large number of reviews in which nearly everything that can be said about Genesis' Foxtrot has already been said, I really can't add much of significance. It's considered one of the best progressive rock albums ever released by one of the foundational bands of this genre. It contains one of the most memorable and possibly greatest 20+ minute long songs a rock band has ever composed, the now infamous Supper's Ready.With the exception of the filler instrumental Horizons, every song on this album is of significant historical importance for not only Genesis, but the genre as a whole and has inspired numerous bands in the genre's extensive genealogy.

This is a must-have and should be in every serious prog rock fan's collection.
