TAU CETI

Here is a Brasilian trio (D'Elboux on keyboards, Zé do Baixo on bass and Ricardo Stuani on percussion) that delivers an eponymous debut CD (13 tracks). It is keyboard driven progrock, the songs sound fluent featuring some Clive Nolan like play (early Pendragon). The band also plays a rendition from the known JS Bach work "Toccata in D-Fuga" (pleasant synthesizer runs), in the vein of other fine renditions like Sky and Kajem. Unfortunately the recording quality is not optimal, the keyboards could have sound more powerful and lush if they were better recorded. Nonetheles, a fine first effort.
