Truly a great effort to capture the sound and spirit of one of the greatest concert experiences I ever had the privilege of attending this still does not do the concert justice. Like a photograph of a sunset or a summer storm, the snapshots can never capture the full impact, the full scale, the full panorama of the experience. Plus, there are a few song differences and cuts from the concerts I saw (I attended three different concerts in three different cities on this tour). Another element that seems to detract from efforts to record/represent the PG live experience that I find lacking is the fact that he always has such interesting warm-up bands (who often end up on stage with his band during the encores). Anyway, the later videographed versions of the PG concerts are done so well that I question why anyone would even buy an album or CD. A great tour with a great song selection and great cast of support band members.
