3 stars Came across this band by a pure coincidence as my friend acquired a CD of theirs. From the very first minute of the album, the nod to Symphony X is evident. Neo-classical metal with progressive tendencies, perhaps a bit flashier keyboard and (therefore) less flashy guitar, the music is still filled with melody hooks, great solos and fast-pace numbers. Apollo ain't Rusell Allen though and his vocal isn't that memorable but far from being average. Overall, this is great listen especially if you expect little music for the little money but you may fall flat if you have the Symphony X demands.
