THE CHATEAU D'HEROUVILLE SESSIONS 1972

This is a standalone rerelease of Steven Wilson's salvage job on the infamous sessions - previously known as the "Chateau D'Isaster tapes". An earlier mix of the material saw the light of day as the second disc of the Nightcap collection, and Wilson's own mix was originally the second disc of the deluxe version of the Passion Play "Extended Performance" release. For this special vinyl release, the original tapes take up the first three sides of vinyl, whilst the fourth side showcases how the material got recycled over their next couple of albums here and there. It's not the long-lost double album they were hoping to make, but it's the closest we're ever going to get to it.
