5 stars So this is about sounding "snobbish" and talking pretentiously about everything?

So let's go that way!

This album is MAGNIFICENT!

Asia is another superband made up of "super musicians" like Geoffrey Downes, Steve Howe, John Wetton and Carl Palmer, but they did not come with the intention of being a new "U.K." but rather, to reach a more mainstream style.

And boy did they succeed!

Knowing that the prog-rock of the 70s was already buried (even though here we have the "widows" of "Tales From Topographic Oceans" complaining about the "pop" sound of the '80s) Asia are prepared to offer a fusion of styles with a lot of technique and energy.

Hymns like "Heat of the moment", "Only time will tell", "Time again" and "Here comes the feeling" are classics for life.

So no, friend of the sophistication of Caravan or the intricate curls of Zappa or Pink Floyd in 1970....don't expect a high-class progressive gem here. Wait rather, music that was conjuncturally well created for its time :)
