3 stars EMERGENCY were a seven piece Jazz Rock band based in Germany but multi-national for sure with five from the Czech Republic including the vocalist who goes by the name Reddy. Drummer is from Germany and the guitarist from England. This is their debut from 1971 and it's pretty much a vocal led Jazz Rock album with some blasting horns bringing BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS to mind. Just not a record I enjoyed at all to be honest. Bland is a word that comes to mind as I couldn't pick one standout track.

There is one bluesy tune on here called "My Woman Is Going Now" and even the vocals are in that bluesy style. The closer is a cover of "Gimme Some Lovin" and not a good one either. A couple of the tracks open with blasting horns which I'm not into at all. I am surprised that Udo Lindenberg is the drummer here. But he can't save this from a low 3 star rating.
