3 stars A curiosity. But am a curious (purely in the musical sense) kind of guy.

I rather like an opening song (At The Station) that immediately suggests at least 2 other bands....in this case Deep Purple and The Doors. They slightly detour via Tommy era Who too. This could go either way you think, although in my case I wouldn't mind either path. Rather disappointingly they go a bit pop in For You for all it's changes in the brief running time and the odd psych hangover. Ho hum. And the following track is equally disappointing and you start to wonder what happened to all that early promise of song one..... Then A New Day Has Arisen and it improves. They had certainly listened to their Uriah Heep albums and channeled it into this 8min+ effort and like Heep, never under repeat to string a song out. But still, it's better! How The Time Has Flown is Deep Heep and the best track so far but the 2 min plus intro makes you realise the singers not great as when he comes in you are waiting for the solos... Lost In The World is a snappy blues rock riff and this and the following song, especially as the guitar players tone and suggestion of double tracking sounds very Lynyrd Skynyrd which brings another element into play. Awake throws in some Grand Funk Railroad isms and the left in the locker since track 1 Doors influence. They also keep the singer quiet for a 3 min intro this time and that is the best part of the song.

So...sometimes curiosity isn't rewarded. I hadn't played this for an age and was surprised to see it on PA so thought, 'have I missed something?' Nope. I hadn't. One for the box marked 'list on ebay'. I will be generous and give this 2.8 stars a 3.
