A step forward into a new era of publishing for David Tibet and Current 93, this was also a bit of a step back musically - a reiteration of the ghoulish dark ambient approach of Nature Unveiled. That said, Nature Unveiled was a pretty excellent album and another release in the same vein is more than welcome. In some of the more synthesiser-blessed moments, I wonder whether this was produced under the influence of Tangerine Dream - not the bright tinkly 1980s stuff that they were churning out at the time, but the murky material of Alpha Centauri or Zeit over a decade earlier.
