THE SERPENT IS RISING

All early Styx albums sound sloppy and confused to me, this is sometimes laughable and I wonder if this is not the Spinnal Tap of prog rock. Some people say that early styx was more prog than their 75-79 period , and they might not be mistaken , but whatever prog numbers they attempted were simply awful (Common Man on their debut)
