AN EINEM TAG IM AUGUST / O'DRISCOLL

Here we have the last two songs of the eponymous DROSSELBART album which are released as a single vinyl. A little bit disappointing as for my taste. They cannot reach the charm of the other single excerpt 'Jemina / Du Bist Der Eine Weg'.

An Einem Tag Im August is very folky and only attracts attention because of the good acoustic and electric guitar accompaniment. O'Driscoll starts dreamy and changes to a heavier rocking part. But this one can be counted to the weaker songs of the album.

This one is only interesting for vinyl collectors of obscure Krautrock bands - but not more ...
