4 stars Don't let the Moody Blues tribute on the cover fool you - this isn't Current 93 going prog so much as a wild career- spanning live set ranging from their recent piano-focused torch song sound through their neofolk era to almost quasi- industrial moments. There's an amazingly emotive rendition of Sleep Has His House which transforms the epic ambient original into a concise neofolk statement of grief, there's occasional keyboard treatments and other sounds giving things a bit more of an industrial spin at times than we have been used to in post-1980s Current 93 live material, and in general it's a wild ride through all the different sonic spheres David Tibet and his allies have visited over the years.
