THE STARRES ARE MARCHING SADLY HOME (THE INMOSTLIGHT THIRDANDFINAL)

As the title implies, this is the third and final part of the Inmost Light triptych, the centrepiece of which is the All the Pretty Little Horses album. Like the first part, Where The Long Shadows Fall, it's a single long dark ambient piece. If I had to choose between the two, I would mildly prefer this one, but luckily you don't have to choose - all three parts of the triptych are available on the Inmost Light compilation, thankfully presented as a 3CD set so you can just listen to the album without the prologue and epilogue if you wish. Darker and more nostalgic than the gramophone-textured Where The Long Shadows Fall, this rounds out the trilogy neatly.
