DUNE

Another competent, if somewhat undistinguished, outing from Schulze. Dune sounds pretty much like the other work he was doing at the time: high quality, but without much variety. Side Two is where things get interesting, with a beautiful solo cello and the always unique vocals of the one and only Arthur Brown. The lyrics are not very good, but they are so low in the mix that you won't be bothered by them unless you strain your ears. The bonus track is a fragment of a live performance and sounds just that: fragmentary.
