This is a potential hot potato, seen as the reviewer is a Collab:

TOWNSEND, DEVIN — Terria
Review by BaldJean (Jeanine)
Prog Reviewer

1 stars this is not a progressive record at all, not even prog metal. it is metal and nothing else. Devin Towsnend is an artist who should in my opinion not be in the database. hence the only possible rating this album can get from me is one star. zero would be more appropriate, since it just doesn't fit into the prog category, but unfortunately zero is noit available

RUSH — Permanent Waves
Review by progressive
Catching famous songs Spirit of the radio and Freewill are very nice, last maybe a bit better being more funny. Jacob's ladder and Natural science are more epical, but less odd songs - interesting and heavy. However, this record is a bit lame.

Gives 4 stars but says the album is "lame"

Yes, fellows, the new trend now is to plagiarise old reviews... and they are tough to find among hundreds of them, some posted in 2004!

We are dealing with it, and any news you find please PM me or any other Admin that we'll go get them all. Thanks again!

Suggestion: Why don't you get M@X to do an SQL query and delete all reviews posted by "oms.salvador", "AndreaSalvador" and all the other pseudonyms that this chap goes by, excepting "MANDRAKEROOT".

M@X can delete the lot in one fell swoop, rather than you Admin chaps deleting them one by one as they're reported. It would save everyone time and effort, and get rid of the distortion to the ratings that all these duplicate/triplicate reviews are having.

It have well to cancel all my reviews except for those by name MANDRAKEROOT. In fact all those with other nick name I wrote them in a moment of large personal problems than now I surpassed and that I would want to forget!

Yes, from times to times reviews always undergo certain type of attacks... plagiarism cases are being reported via mail. Anyway, thanks!

A smart way to lower Genesis ratings while raving about Dark Side of the Moon:

GENESIS — Selling England By The Pound

Review by psychospaces

3 stars Many words have been written, many ears have been heard... since 1973 until today, the music industry has been touched by this record, in any aspect of it, from music to design, there is no surprise that this has been the only record to be featured 3 times in an anniversary edition, and two times has been redesigned the cover and the inner art.

The music is fantastic, at least 10 million plus, persons have heard this album at least once, and at least 2 million love it, this is not a regular album, is the perfect blend in between concept and comercial, the perfect place to start and end, the neutral place in music to hear how good a band can be mixing popular sounds with complex rhythms and ideas. Is not a common record, because is like a long song, even if the singles and pieces by their own are perfectly intense by themselves, but, is a story, a moment, a thought, watching this thing in a live situation is to fly directly to the moon and beyond, the force of the album breaks all of the statements. That's why this is a masterpiece, beacuse they knew at that time that "time" & "money" were a good couple, even facing an "eclipse" through a "breathe" in "any colour you like", in between "us and them".

never completely heard the album but its three stars....

GENESIS — Selling England By The Pound
Review by tarkuswright (Jim Carlton)
Well, a strange album… There’s not doubt it’s good, but I sincerely expected another masterpiece from Genesis, and THIS IS NOT. I feel a lack of something inexplicable, a lack of pure prog. This is the first Genesis’s work in which we can hear an approaching to a catchier pop. They left the alternative tune we liked so much, to do something different and I thought it's not so beautiful. And so I don’t like The Battle of Epping Forest and More Fool Me, they sound like another group’s songs, after the excellent Foxtrot; the only song that worth to be called Genesis’s are Dancing With The Moonlight Knight, Firth of Fifth and maybe I Know What I Like In Your Wardrobe, a simple pop song. It’s good the intro of Cinema Show, but the verses and choruses are not as good as catchy… THIS ALBUM IS THE GENESIS’S ONE I BOUGHT AND I NEVER HEARD COMPLETELY!!! I don’t feel to recommend it, but I know a lot of people like it……
