Mythology biography
Founded in West Milford, NJ, USA in 2007

Mythology, a progressive rock trio from northern New Jersey, USA, was formed in 2007 by bandleader Brynen Sosa. They released their debut album "Greatest Hits" in 2009, followed by "Forever Endeavor" in 2012, which explored deeper into progressive rock. Their third album, "Mythology III: The Search for Relevance" (2015), incorporates elements of progressive rock, jazz, and metal.

The band now consists of Brynen SOSA (guitar, vocals), Jordan MORRISSEY (drums, vocals), and Dave LOCKHART (bass, vocals).

Influenced by bands such as Yes, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, and The Mars Volta, Mythology has built a substantial and loyal fanbase through numerous live shows and recordings. They have opened for notable acts including Yes, Peter Frampton, Project/Object, Consider the Source, Thank You Scientist, and Kung Fu.

Their sixth studio album, "The Story of Sound", released in April 2024, is a concept album that narrates the story of the man who invented music itself, featuring a blend of musical confidence, finesse, and high-level production.
