Nathan Parker Smith biography
Nathan PARKER SMITH is an American composer, performer and bandleader originally from Northern California. As an accomplished artist and award winner who's compositions are played by ensembles throughout the United States, SMITH has been residing in Brooklyn and in 2009 formed his group 'Nathan Parker Smith Large Ensemble' with whom he performs his music throughout New York in live shows. The ensemble is much edgier than a standard jazz big band group with it's influences of both classical music, progressive rock and even heavy metal; they released their debut album called 'Not Dark Yet' in 2014 .
