Martin Stacey biography
Martin STACEY is a multi-instrumentalist who moved to Orange County, California in 2011 after spending eight years in an Indianapolis-based metal act called OPIATE to create his own style of progressive atmospheric metal. With no shortage of ambience and numerous variances of musical texture, Martin's work is lush with keyboards, biting guitars, soaring vocals and tight drumming. Influences range from TOOL and DEVIN TOWNSEND to PINK FLOYD. Performing all of the instruments, his first full length album, ''Bliss in Undertow'' was released in November 2014. He is also currently the drummer for the symphonic black metal act EMPYREAN THRONE.
