Urthona biography
URTHONA is a Japanese math rock band formed in 2001 by Motoshi KUBOTA and Charley SCHOOLMASTER. After existing for some time as a duo, the band met up with SIX EYES drummer Mr. KUWAYAMA and bassist Kenichi MATSUMOTO. Because of KUWAYAMA's obligation to other bands, however, he eventually left the band and was replaced by Makoto SAKAGUCI. The band, now fully formed, played around Japan for some time before finally releasing their first and only full length album, Ranting Teeth in Spacious Non, in 2007. After the release of this album, the band faded into obscurity.
