False Coda biography
FALSE CODA were officially formed back in 2009 and the only steady members since then were the brothers Vasilis (guitars) and Andreas MILIOS (drums) (also in BARBAX). After several changes in the lineup, in August 2011, Nikos POGKAS (ex-SHIVERSPINE) came along as a bass player and a month later Lefteris KAPETANIOS (keyboards). The band, while still in search of a singer, recorded in their own home studio the track "Respect" featuring Andreas on vocals as a sample for anyone interested in auditioning. Finally after several offers Manos XANTHAKIS (AGNOSIA, STRANGEYES, ex-JERICHO,ex-CELESTIAL ODE, ex-BLAZON etc.) to fill the place of the singer. Since then the band recorded one more track, 'Code of Kindness' and participated in Salamina's Metal festival. The band's debut, ''Closer to the Edge'' was released in 2014 through Steel Gallery records. The band's musical identity is traditional power-progressive metal with influences from many styles and artists outside the metal world (prog rock, fusion, classical music etc.)
