David Maranha biography
David Maranha is a veteran organ muscian born 1969 in Figueira Da Foz, Portugal. Maranha's music explores the realms of free improvisation and drone music with similarities and influence from avant-garde classical composers, early drone artists, and the krautrock scene in particular Tony Conrad and Faust collaboration. His albums Marches Of The New World and Antarctica are excellent showcases for Krautrock style slow hypnotic pieces. In addition David Maranha is part of several groups (Osso Exotico, Curia) and has collaborated with many muscians ( Chris Cutler, Z'ev) over the decades.
