Myrmidion Creed biography
MYRMIDION CREED are a German progressive metal band, formed in 1986 in Biberach, Baden-W�rttemberg. Despite the long existence of the band, they have only released a few demos and one full-length album in 1994 via Gorgon records, entitled ''Through Painful Eyes''. The current (2014) line-up consists of Walter SCHLAY (Bass), Gerd M�LLER (Drums), Michael SCH�FER (Guitars), Jan TOPORSKI (Guitars), Volker RIEDEL (Vocals) while previous members include T. SCHUHMACHER and Ingo THEOBOLDT (Bass), Hubert MODER and Alexander TRAUB (Drums).

Main influences come from QUEENSRYCHE, in a style that mixes the high-pitched vocal american power-prog metal of the 80's with the lyricism of the European acts of the early 90's, which at times resembles to the sound made by compatriots SOUL CAGES.
