The USA Is A Monster biography
A Brooklyn-based rock combo The USA IS A MONSTER were formed and improved gradually as an experimental / psychedelic rock (mainly) duo around 2000 by Tom HOHMANN (drums, keyboards, voices) and Colin LANGENUS (guitars, voices). Their roots lay upon two noise-rock project Bullroarer and Raw Dawg Rex & The Family Nads, in both of which Tom and Colin had played together, and the two created some material for their debut LP ("Citizens Of The Universe" released in 2002 via Infrasound Records) with an ambition to expand their experimentalism. They released 4 albums via Load Records and one via Northern Spy Records until disbandment in 2009.
