Pendulum biography
Founded in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1998 - Still active as of 2018

The band is one of the most active progressive rock band in Indonesia since 1998. They were part of many festivals and events such as Jazz Goes to Campus, The Carnaval Urban Fest and Prof Fest 1 where they released their first album "Legenda". In 2003, it's their second album titled "Hypnotize" with invited guest vocalists such as IPAMG (BIP, ex. PLASTIK). Then the next album "Progpaganda" saw their music maturity come to life in 2012 with invited senior musicians like Amiroez Wolf ARNDT and other names. After many formation changes, now the band has found his own identity which continues to move forward, backward, right and left.

The music of Pendulum is progressive rock fusion with a bombastic symphonic style where you can find a combination of Jazz and Progressive Rock with their own heavy twist, a bit similar to the Japanese band KBB and Dream Theater. The line-up is Turi ISMANTO (guitars), Michael LAQUAIS (drums)and Rizky NAWAWI PUTRA (bass).
