Drawing on elements of contemporary progressive alt-rock and indie, HALO BLIND create a unique hybrid that's engaging, dynamic and immersive.HALO BLIND's reference points, which include SIGUR ROS, PINK FLOYD, ALT-J and RADIOHEAD provide a useful starting point, but can only begin to tell the story for this compelling York 5-piece who released their second album, 'OCCUPYING FORCES', in April 2014.

Their debut album, the dark and foreboding 'THE FABRIC', garnered praise across progressive community, who described ''...an incredibly diverse and accomplished, exceptional debut album...'' and called them ''...nothing short of a UK Prog Supergoup'' ( Prog Magazine ).

They quickly cemented a reputation as a high energy, must-see live unit and were signed up to play the Isle of Wight Festival, as well as winning the Best New Band award from the Classic Rock Society.

With 'OCCUPYING FORCES', HALO BLIND build layer upon layer of textured guitar-driven soundworlds to forge condensed epics that are truly mesmerising. The songs are imbued with a true emotional depth and range, from introspection and angst, to excitement, anger and venting socio-political frustration.
