FARAQUET is a Math-Rock band formed in Washington D.C. in 1997. The band is fronted by guitarist and vocalist Devin Ocampo, with Jess Boswell on bass guitar and Chad Molter on drums. Faraquet?s sound consists of punk and post-hardcore influences mixed into catchy Math-Rock guitar lines, stop-on-a-dime drum precision and often complementary basslines. They cite bands like Fugazi, Jawbox, Nation of Ulyssess and King Crimson as major influences. In 2000 they released their debut LP, View From This Tower, on Dischord Records only to disband the following year.
