Empyrean Sanctum biography
Based in Chicago, Illinois, new progressive metal act EMPYREAN SANCTUM was founded by guitarist Justin KELLERMAN as a means to convey fantasy-based concepts involving personal struggle through invigorating technically complex music. Drawing influences from a wide range of progressive metal bands such as DREAM THEATER and MESHUGGAH, EMPYREAN SANCTUM merge melodic vocals and instrumental interplay with aggressive technical displays bearing characteristics from more extreme acts. Their debut self-titled full length album was released on November 12th, 2013.

The band members currently consist of Justin KELLERMAN on guitar and keyboards, Albert RYBKA providing clean vocals, Zach LIBBE on drums and occasional growling, and Mario BUONINCONTRO on bass guitar.
