Brave the Vertigo biography
Hailing from Burlington, Vermont, BRAVE THE VERTIGO's first album, ''Oppenheimer Quoting Vishnu'', began its conception in 2011 and was finished in 2013. Produced and engineered by Francis ANDREAS, who also composed these songs, BRAVE THE VERTIGO's brand of metal combines elements of progressive rock acts such as CAMEL with the modern soundscapes of OPETH and KATATONIA, resulting in melodic progressive metal featuring smooth vocal harmonies, gorgeous acoustic passages and an emphasis on atmosphere. Francis ANDREAS, who performs vocals and guitar, is currently joined by Ben BOUCHARD on guitar, Erik TIDMAN on drums and Colin FLETCHER on bass.
