Jinete Azul biography
JINETE AZUL is a trio from Mendoza that consists of guitarist Edgardo POVEZ, bassist Jorge ALCOJOR and Rodrigo Perez MORALEJO on drums. The band formed in 2004 and was inspired by a German artistic movement Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider), fundamental to expressionism in art (hence the name of the band which is spanish for blue rider). The group released their first bluesy instrumental jazz rock album in 2012.
