US project PARABSTRUSE was the creative vehicle of composer and musician Garry Brents, instigated in 2007. Brents made two initial demo tapes in 2007, 2008 saw him release the EP "Back and Forth" and the debut album "Old Sentimental", and the final phase of Parabstruse closed with the release of the EP "An Unconventional Future" in July 2009.

Parabstruse's brand of post rock have been compared to artists such as Red Sparowes.
