SDNMT biography
German band SDNMT (aka Seidenmatt) was formed in 2001 by Jan Heinemann (guitars), Florian Koller (bass), Matthias Horn (drums) and Martin Eichhorn (samples). They released their debut album "Wasserluft" in 2003, followed by "If You Use This Software Often - Buy It" in 2005. By 2007 Sebastian Cleemann (guitars, vocals, keyboards) had joined the band, his vocals a distinct presence on their third and so far most recent album "The Goal Is To Make The Animals Happy".
SDNMT's brand of post rock have earned them compariosns towards bands like El Ten Eleben and, to some extent, Explosions in the Sky.
