Etox biography
ETOX are a progressive metal band from Bavaria, Germany, formed in 2009. Two years in the song-writing and recording process, they self-released their debut album ''Deepwater Rising'' in May 2011. The band consists of Roland FROMBECK (Vocals), Sebastian UNTERSTEIN (Guitars), Matthias PITTRICH (Guitars), Stephan WEIGEL (Bass) and Constantin GUELICH (Drums).

Citing influences from well-known bands of the wider progressive metal scene (TOOL, OPETH, DREAM THEATER, PORCUPINE TREE), ETOX attempt a mix of traditional progressive metal with an experimental, more atmospheric touch, helped on by the - often long - durations of their tracks.
