Essential Hazard biography
ESSENTIAL HAZARD was a band from Boston formed in 2010. The band started out as monthly jam session with four musicians from the area, guitarist Pericles BAKALOS, Brian KONING on horns, bassist Patrick CHRISTMAN and drummer Nadjim KEBIR. These sessions resulted in improvised and very creative jazz fusion sound which channeled many artists they were influenced with at the time, like David TORN, MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA, MILES DAVIS, RETURN TO FOREVER, TRIBAL TECH, TERJE RYPDAL and many other influences. This eclectic sound was saved in a form of self-titled album after the band disbanded in 2012.
