Voluntary Mother Earth biography
VOLUNTARY MOTHER EARTH is one of projects given rise to in 2004 by a Tokyo-based "human-hater" Akihiro HAYAKAWA, who has formed a couple of one-man progressive rock projects including PSYCHEDELIC GURU with 35-minute EP titled "Psychedelic Meditation" released in November 2010. VOLUNTARY MOTHER EARTH has launched three albums as digitally downloadable material and sadly Akihiro mentioned in his blog that this project had broken up in October 2010, after launching the third album "Village Avant-Garde". Although he founded a garage-pop unit Tokyo Chaos City, the day he puts his hand to progressive rock scene will come sooner or later, hopefully.
