Sios biography
SIOS are a progressive metal band based out of Newark, New Jersey that was founded by bassist and vocalist Phillip DEFREITAS, lead guitarist Christian CRUX, rhythm guitarist April COPES, and drummer Gabriel SCOLIS-FERNANDEZ. The band was formed around the desire to create an eclectic and diverse sound.

Based around the musical tendencies akin to COHEED AND CAMBRIA, DREAM THEATER, and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, the band's progressive metal sound was manifested in their debut album Halcyon Failure, which was released mid-2012. The band will appeal to fans of the aforementioned bands as well as fans of IRON MAIDEN, TOOL, and other heavy prog metal bands.
