tRANSELEMENt / ex EleMenT biography
A UK experimental rock combo tRANSELEMENt got started as a three- or four-piece ensemble named EleMenT in Pendle, Lancashire in 1994 by Jay STANSFIELD (guitars, trumpet, synthesizers, voices), Karl EDEN (guitar, drums, drum machine, voices), and Mark TATTERSALL (drums, synthesizers). Always out of mainstream they had played independent / mixed-up / experimental / avantgarde-structured rock for ten years, and released five studio-based albums and some live session ones. Regretfully they have been disbanded in 2004 (Jay has shifted himself into solo works) and their material can be listened to in their Bandcamp page (see below).
