FROLIC FROTH is one of several psychedelic band incarnations from Mexico, this time based on the collaboration of Victor Basurto (bass), drummer Arturo López and Jorge Beltrán (guitar). They previously had played together in diverse bands alongside with other musicians, to name Humus and Loch Ness for example.

Their sound is heavy in the old psychedelic sense, basically paying tribute to German krautrock bands, Jimi Hendrix and avant-garde groups like Henry Cow and Etron Fou Lelublan. FROLIC FROTH have recorded four albums in total. Two of them were finally released in 1996/97, designated as one of the most influential psychedelic productions from Mexico.
