Being biography
BEING is an experimental metal band formed in 2004 in Orlando, Florida. The band plays an experimental form of electronic and space-rock inspired djent. The band was formed by guitarist David FURREVIG and vocalist Cas, with the eventual addition of bassist Clint and guitarist and producer/programmer Misha MANSOOR (most well known as the founding member and lead guitarist in the fellow djent band PERIPHERY).

The band was dormant for a while, slowly composing and compiling songs for their myspace. Their "debut" was an unofficial 3-track EP released for free from their SoundClick account in 2010. Not much was heard from the band until mid-way through 2011, when the band's debut full length album, "Arrival," was released. The music is rich with djent influence from the likes of PERIPHERY, TEXTURES, and other bands of the type with a heavier emphasis on sonic exploration in the form of spacey and psychedelic atmospheres to compliment the music.
