Silent Scream biography
The origin of SILENT SCREAM can be traced back to 2001, the year that Agustin Lagresta (guitar) joined Striker Germain (drums) in a project that included styles such as Hard Rock and Heavy metal. With the subsequent arrival of Maximiliano Ravera (guitar) and Pablo Paul Pacenza (bass) in April 2002 the band's first lineup is almost complete. After several failed attempts to find singer, Marco Ritvo joins the band in June and with this lineup (and an extensive list of songs) the band's first formation hit the road and had their first presentation in August 2002.

After many shows, the project needed to expand their musical horizons, what made differences arise in the band. These differences caused the departure of Germain Striker at the end of 2003.

Having a vacancy on the drumset, the remaining members embarked on the arduous task of finding a new drummer and, after several unsuccessful attempts, Juan Pablo Pilatti joined SILENT SCREAM in 2005.

With this formation, the band went to find a new sound, which included various styles such as Heavy Metal, Prog Metal and Prog Rock. After writing new songs the band performed many live shows in the following years.

In November 2007 the bassis Pablo Pacenza had to leave the band for personal reasons, being replaced by Gaston Lorda. After completing the line-up once more, the band started to work on the first album, called ?Upstream?

With their first album completed and with the compositions of a second album well under way, the band went on their way to spread their music.
