7th Kind biography
7th Kind is a Chicago-based art rock band. They have been playing together since 2001, and over the years, developed their sound -- energetic music that is meticulously charted, yet inspired and accessible. Initially, the band's vision was unfocused. They learned their particular craft at Chicago clubs like The Elbo Room, Beat Kitchen, and Wise Fools Pub. In June of 2004, the band self-released a live studio album, Collapsing the Wave, and are currently in the studio working on a new record, engineered by Michael Mullowney. Member Since january 2006:
