N.A.M.E. stands for the New Approach to Matyrs Expressions, an American Experimental Deathcore band formed in 1999 by brothers Jeremy and Wes FEREAS in Danville, Bay Area, California. The band's style is very eclectic, with influences from Jazz, Progressive Rock and Hardcore. It gathered them comparisons to the math metal of DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, the thundering post-core of THE OCEANS and CULT OF LUNA, and the fluent jazzy style of INTRONAUT.

After 2 EPs, the band's full-length debut 'Internet Killed the Audio Star' appeared in 2010.
