Qui biography
Qui completed the nucleus concerning this band as a start of the activity concerning the music at the time of the 90's. And, they are beginning the activity as time of the formation concerning Qui in 1993.

The form of the band united the organization of trio as a situation of an activity at that time. The member who had been actually acting since student's time was forming the nucleus of Qui to Qui formed by centering on guitar player's Takashi Hayashi as trio.

A first member was always doing live to the formation based on Japanese capital until 2003. Qui halts activity temporarily in 2004. Bass player's Naoyuki Seto and drum player's Dan Yoshikawa join the band in 2005.

Flute player's Kazuo Yoshida joins the band in 2006 continuing. And, percussion player's Takashi Itani joined the band in 2007 and the organization in a present activity was established.

The band is announcing Prelude as a history of the sound source in 2006. And, Qui is announced from the Musea record in 2008. Afterwards, DVD was announced by the name of Qui Superlive through the offer of the music for the omnibus album in 2009.

The musician from whom the band was influenced is indeed various. Enumeration of music in King Crimson and Metallica. And, it is said that the music influenced from Soft Machine and Frank Zappa will have been absorbed. Or, music that is reminiscent of Jazz Rock and Canterbury Scene as the part that composes the overall music character is progressed. They have enumerated the influence from John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Jan Garbarek.
