Herbe Rouge biography
HERBE ROUGE were an obscure French Avant-Jazz rock outfit with a large (three- or four-piece) horn section family featuring saxophones, clarinets, trombone or trumpet, formed around the frontman & composer Olivier Foy in 1970s. They had played on stage with some RIO / Avant bands like Univers Z�ro, Bise De Buse, or Art Zoyd, and been much inspired also by Jazz Rock and Canterbury Scene. HERBE ROUGE released their one and only album 'C�t� Cour, C�t� Jardin' (1978) via a French independent label Scopa Invisible. 'C�t� Cour, C�t� Jardin' was reissued in 1997 by another French label Legend Music, with twelve bonus tracks.
