Il Cielo di Bagdad biography
Il Cielo di Bagdad is a post-rock band from Aversa, Italy. The group is formed in 2004 and band members are: Nicholas Mottola Jacobsen, Luca Buscema, and Giovanni Costanzo, Enrico Falbo, Giulio Cestrone. They play ambient driven post-rock. Haunting melodies, epic-like song structure, piano and glockenspiel combined with ambient drones,oscillating electric guitars create rich soundscapes. Their sound is very much Sigur Ros inspired. They so far released two full-lenght albums: Export for Malinconique(2008); Manca solo la neve(2006)
